Alhambra Hospital Medical Center Subacute Unit celebrates 25 years of service and 5 star CMS recognition!

Alhambra, California - Alhambra Hospital Medical Center Subacute Unit is celebrating its 25th anniversary and its 5 star recognition by CMS on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 100 S. Raymond Avenue, Alhambra, CA.

In addition to our 25 years of service to the community of Alhambra, we are proud to announce that our Subacute Unit has once again been awarded a 5 STAR rating by CMS (the centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services), which is the highest rating for nursing homes and long term care facilities.

Nursing Home Compare (an online report card produced by CMS) provides quality ratings to each of the nation's 15,000 Medicare and/or Medicaid-certified nursing and long term care facilities. Each is rated from a low (1 Star) to the highest (5 Stars) based on three critical areas: health inspection results, quality measures and staffing levels. The quality rating system was created to help consumers, their families and caregivers compare nursing homes and long term care facilities easily. Nursing homes vary in the quality of care and services they provide and this quality rating system provides an overview of the individual care their loved one will receive.
